Position Summary:
SMWG is seeking a Mobile Crisis Supervisor in San Luis Obispo County who is registered with the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences as licensed or an associate.
The Mobile Crisis Supervisor is responsible for overseeing mobile crisis services in San Luis Obispo County. This includes collaborating with community partners including San Luis Obispo County Behavioral Health (SLOBHS), local hospitals, law enforcement officers, and more.
The Mobile Crisis Supervisor will assist with training newly hired staff, provide consultation and guidance to crisis staff, collaborate with San Luis Obispo County, and assist with any other processes associated with the continuous function of the team and program.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Regional Manager and Human Resources Department to provide oversight of employee relations.
- Manage the staffing patterns for the MCT to ensure proper support and coverage for all shifts.
- Manage mobile crisis documentation and provide training, guidance, and feedback to staff to align with all Medi-Cal documentation standards.
- Work closely with the Regional Manager to review and maintain all related policies and procedures and Standard Operation Procedures (SOP).
- Complete administrative functions such as reviewing and completing timecards, coaching and providing feedback to employees, etc.
- Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on mobile crisis services to guarantee services provided meet all legal and ethical best practices and standard of care.
- Assist in AB2275 Hearings, ensuring legal compliance.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling psychology, or a related behavioral science field preferred. At minimum a master's degree with related experience.
- Must be either licensed or licensed-waived and registered with BBS.
- At least two (2) years of experience in a human service agency.
- At least two (2) years of experience in management of personnel.
- Demonstrated familiarity with clinical treatment approaches, basic skills in staff supervision, and work distribution in a counseling agency.
- Previous experience providing crisis services is preferred.
Essential Physical and Mental Functions:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to delegate tasks, set priorities, and ensure the productivity of the team.
- Ability to hold staff accountable and assign work to staff appropriately.
- Strong collaboration skills, fostering positive working relations both internally and externally.
- Diligent monitoring of program policies and rules, ensuring continuous compliance.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, staff, and the public.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and the flexibility to travel between program sites and community meeting locations.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel.
- Proficiency in using standard office equipment, including computers, copier/fax machine, and telephone.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
