CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF

MARRIAGE & FAMILY THERAPISTS

Central Coast Chapter

Central Coast CAMFT Board of Directors

LEAH DEROSE PRESIDENT

This is my first year serving as the president and I am honored to serve our chapter and to continue to be a part of this community. I am passionate about creating networking events and other engagements to foster connections and support for all levels of therapists and am looking forward to what this year will bring.
I am the owner of DeRose Therapy Group, a group practice in SLO.  Individually, I specialize in working with college students and professionals who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety and perfectionism. As a group we work with all populations and have an integrative approach with providing both psychotherapy and other wellness services.  I also am the Mobile Crisis Program Supervisor at Sierra Mental Wellness Group. Throughout my years of experience I have had my private practice/group practice for nine years and have about a decade of experience working for county behavioral health, working with children, youth, adults, as the patients' rights advocate and hearing officer.

My husband and I have three girls, two who have left the nest and our third in her first year of high school. We have lived in SLO for eleven years and love calling this beautiful place our home. In my down time I enjoy interior design, reading and hiking with my family and dogs.

LIZ CLARK TREASURER

Hi! I am Liz Clark. I specialize in helping you to get unstuck so you can move through life with greater ease and joy. My approach to therapy is holistic and I use an attachment process that helps get to the root of social anxiety and self-doubt to help you build more harmony and nourishment in your relationships.

After spending 3 years with my private practice in Santa Cruz developing my skills as a somatic and trauma-informed therapist, I have relocated back to SLO county to provide my services here. I serve clients in person in Los Osos and San Luis Obispo as well as virtually.

I am excited to be a part of the CAMFT community in my hometown, and to participate in creating a stronger local network for therapists and other health professionals alike so that we may support our community at large in the most effective and transformative ways possible.

CORTNEY WAGNER SECRETARY

I have lived in SLO county since 2007. I worked for SLO County Behavioral Health for 10 years and then started private practice 7 years ago and really enjoy it! I am passionate about working with kids, adults and families who experience(d) trauma and attachment wounds as well as grief/loss, life transitions and women’s issues.

It is such an honor to be able to witness clients’ healing and be a part of their journey. I am so grateful to live in this beautiful area and enjoy connecting with the nature and sense of community it has to offer.

I love spending time with my family, going to the beach, hiking, meditation and continuing to learn and grow as a human and a therapist.

KIM RICHARDS PROGRAM CHAIR

I have a private practice in SLO and am passionate about working with teens, adults, and families.

In my free time, I love spending time with family and friends taking a beautiful hike in Montana de Oro or sharing a delicious meal together.

Other favorite activities include yoga, meditation, and swinging kettlebells.  I enjoy connecting with my professional community and board, helping put on quality local trainings, and learning/growing alongside my awesome colleagues.

The board has a very special place in my heart and I especially love our pool parties and retreats!

LYNLEE OLIVERA CE COORDINATOR

was born and raised in Santa Barbara. Later I moved to the beautiful Central Coast to raise my family and have had a great many happy experiences and adventures with them as well as later since they’ve grown up.

At present, I am glad to be growing my own private practice in San Luis Obispo where I specialize in the treatment of anxiety disorders for all ages. Reading and training to improve my niche related to my specialty and treatments are very important to me, as well as learning the ins and outs of running a business.

On my own time, the most recent joy in my life is my almost three-year old granddaughter. I live for outdoor activities, especially beach volleyball doubles at Pismo Beach. I also like biking, yoga, paddle boarding, rock climbing, walking and hiking and sailing with my husband.  Music, gardening, cooking healthy meals, games and family gatherings are other passions I enjoy.

ALEXANDRA SEASTRUNK MEMBERSHIP

I have a private practice in the Village of Arroyo Grande where I help adults of all ages navigate the complexities of anxiety, depression, and grief/loss. I am grateful for my rich connections with my clients, and feel honored to witness their stories unfold.

Outside of work, I am passionate about reading, film, spending time in nature, and nurturing my relationships--which are very precious to me. I love all animals, from birds to dogs, whales to otters, and I feel most myself in their presence.

I am excited to serve on the board and look forward to connecting more with the community.

ERIN ADDAMS SPONSORSHIP

I combine evidence-based practices with a deeply empathetic approach to support clients on their journey towards mental wellness. Through humor and direct communication, I create a safe and nurturing space, empowering clients to explore their inner worlds, develop effective coping strategies, and foster meaningful connections. I specialize in anxiety, depression, relationship dynamics, and trauma, and am passionate about helping clients build resilience and lead fulfilling lives.

JESSICA RAYBON DEIA+

Connecting with one another to build community is essential for our well-being. I am excited to join our Central Coast CAMFT Chapter to celebrate diversity, and ensure our spaces and practices are accessible, equitable, and inclusive for all.

I am currently building my private practice in San Luis Obispo, as well as providing mental health services at the Cuesta College Student Health Center.

My academic background includes Music, Gender Studies, Civic Engagement, and Clinical Psychology with a Somatic Concentration. I enjoy supporting clients through an intersectional lens to address both systemic and interpersonal concerns.

Outside of work, I find joy in singing, boxing, spending time with friends, and checking items off of my bucket list. I look forward to meeting new faces and supporting one another!

CASSIDY URBANY

PRE-LICENSED REP

I have called San Luis Obispo home for the past four years, having originally grown up in Santa Barbara. I recently graduated with my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Santa Barbara. During my trainee experience, I have had the privilege of supporting survivors of sexual assault and intimate partner violence through my work at Lumina Alliance, a local non-profit.

I am excited about this new chapter in my pre-licensed journey and feel deeply honored to serve on the CCCAMFT board, where I can contribute to unifying and supporting the pre-licensed community of SLO.

Outside of my professional world, I love exploring the natural beauty of the central coast and embracing new adventures. You’ll often find me surfing in Morro Bay, running or biking the hills in SLO or MDO, and soaking in the vibrant community at farmers markets, coffee shops, and yoga studios. I also treasure opportunities to travel, immerse myself in new cultures, and spend meaningful time with loved ones.
