NOW HIRING ASSISTANT CLINICAL DIRECTOR
We are currently seeking an on-site Assistant Clinical Director to support our Clinical Director in all functions of their role. This position is considered temporary and transitional with the opportunity for advancement into the role of Clinical Director within 3-6 months of hire. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced clinician who is interested in intensive leadership development and career advancement.
Requirements:
PhD/PsyD, LMFT, LMSW or LPC licensed in the state of California.
Minimum of two years of clinical experience in treating eating disorders.
Experience with children or adolescents is highly preferred.
Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families.
Demonstrated history of professional growth and development.
Ability to provide clinical supervision.
Basic technology skills.
Essential Job Functions
Support Clinical Director all clinical aspects of the program to ensure quality and initiate any quality improvement projects.
Ability to assign caseloads and related duties to clinical staff.
Co-lead weekly treatment team meetings.
Supervises and trains clinical team members on proper and timely completion of all documentation including psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, progress notes and discharge summary, and maintaining compliance standards including detailed training on use of EMR.
Oversee and conduct insurance reviews to ensure reimbursement for services provided.
Maintains appropriate and timely communication with referral sources and other significant contacts. Trains and supervises staff to the same standard.
Responsible for maintaining a small caseload of up to three patients.
Oversight and facilitation (as needed) of process and psychoeducation groups.
Collaboration with the Director of Operations to ensure the facility is acting in accordance with JCAHO standards as relating to clinical operations.
Knowledge and adherence to HIPAA privacy rules.
Responsible for ensuring hands on nutrition, grocery shopping and other outside activities are scheduled and done consistently.
Assess and address the ongoing clinical training needs of the staff.
Attends weekly Leadership meetings with Director or Operations and COO/CEO.
Any other job-related responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Compensation Range: $70k-$78k annually
