The Central Coast Treatment Center for Eating, Exercise and Body Image Disorders in San Luis Obispo, CA is seeking an Associate or Licensed Therapist to join our team!
Essential duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead group therapy sessions
- Offer meal support to clients
- Conduct individual therapy sessions
- Assist in creating and running an adolescent-specific IOP & PHP track
- Act as a family case manager/liaison for our adolescent clients and their families
- Collaborate with registered dietitians to create client’s individual treatment plan & evaluate client’s food and eating disorder behaviors, as well as their treatment goals
- Create and update master treatment plans and chart progress notes in a timely manner
- Coordinate care with client's outside providers
- Lead Family support groups and /or family therapy sessions
- Conduct initial and concurrent insurance utilization reviews
Experience working in the eating disorder field is strongly preferred. This is a mostly in-person position and is available for about 15-25 hours per week. You must present a valid certificate/licensure to be considered.
Credentials: California Associate level or Licensed Therapist
Salary range: $25-$40 per hour depending on credentials and experience. Strong potential for professional growth and learning while working on a close-knit team.
LMFT Supervisor available on-site for applicants requiring supervision.

Central Coast Treatment Center for Eating, Exercise and Body Image Disorders is an standalone eating disorder treatment center located in San Luis Obispo, CA. We provide partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) levels of care. Central Coast Treatment Center is a homelike setting with a small staff of approximately 10-15 employees including Registered Nurses, Dietitians, Nutrition Assistants, and Mental Health Counselors.
