With an emphasis on the whole person, I provide psychotherapy from the perspective that each of us can find healing and wellness when we recognize and utilize our innate capabilities to meet life's stressors and challenges with confidence and grace. Combining compassionate self-exploration with the acquisition of effective skills and behaviors, clients gain a sense of their own efficacy and ability to address many of the challenges we encounter in our relationships with self and others in our individual communities. Using an eclectic blend of Internal Family Systems therapy, expressive arts, somatic work and CBT/DBT, I assist clients to deepen their awareness of, and the connections between, body and mind. Clients learn to witness the links between, and the origins of, thoughts, emotions and behaviors. Most significantly, clients learn to recognize their ability to effect and actuate changes that sustain personal growth and well-being.
